Livermore Ranch is located inside the scenic loop of the Davis Mountains. The secluded 5,000 acres is accessible by a multitude of moutainuous ranch roads. Exploring the Ranch with our guides in a Marine Corp. Hummer serves as highlight of your adventure with us. Two to four hour jeep trips climb from a 5,000 ft elevation to 7,500 ft locations such as Victorio Ridge, the Calvary Firepits, Skull Rock, Brooks Mountain Pass, and Mystery Canyon. Volcanic ridgelines overlook endless desert vistas. Sunrises are spectacular and sunsets are a photographic dream.

Activities for our visitors are custom designed to your interests, physical stamina, and time available. Possibilities include hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, predator calling, astronomy, birding, photography, artifact hunting, and relaxing. Livermore Ranch has National Park quality, without the public. Special activities include natural horsemanship training clinics, hunting rifle courses, handgun defense courses, Mule Deer hunts, Auodad hunts, and gourmet cooking classes. Bring your own horse for the highest trail rides in Texas.

The Ranch has a Marine Corps. Hummer that allows access to the remote mountainous terrain. This is a very popular activity, with a knowledgable ranch tour guide and beverage-filled ice chests and picnic basket. This is a truly entertaining and photogenic way to see the specacular west Texas scenery and wildlife.

guests are encouraged to bring their personal four wheel drive vehicle or 4 wheeler and take self-guided tours.


Indoor Activities

A good book and a few videos.
No internet access or television- we designed it that way. This is a place where time needs to be spent outdoors!
Texas TV; that's our firepit/campfire area. The campfire is the place for me every evening!
